Double rooms have either double beds or twin beds and all hotel rooms have a shower or bath. A buffet breakfast is included in the room rates and the hotel restaurants are prepared to accommodate special dietary requests. Most hotels have sauna facilities available to hotel guests free of charge in the mornings. The Conference Secretariat has pre-booked accommodation in two hotels is Jyväskylä, Sokos Hotel Alexandra and Finlandia Hotel Alba, with special rates for the SAE 2005 participants. Hotel Alba is located in the Mattilanniemi Campus of University of Jyväskylä, right beside the conference venue, while Hotel Alexandra is located in the city centre approximately 1,5 kilometers away from the Campus. The hotel rates for conference guests are the following. Sokos Hotel Alexandra, standard: single room 107 EUR/night, double room 63,50 EUR/person/night. Sokos Hotel Alexandra, economy: single room 94 EUR/night, double room 56,50 EUR/person/night. Finlandia Hotel Alba: single room 77 EUR/night, double room 48 EUR/person/night. To utilize these special hotel rates you must book the accommodation through our registration protocol. A written confirmation of your reservation will then be included in your confirmation letter.
