Reception on Sunday, 12 June 2005

The city of Jyväskylä will host a reception to
all conference participants on Sunday evening at 8 pm in the
City Hall. All
participants and accompanying persons are welcome to participate.
Cruise and Dinner on Lake
Päijänne on Monday, 13 June 2005
20:00-23:00 (8 pm - 11 pm)
The program offers a steamer cruise on Lake
Päijänne, the second biggest lake of Finland. You will enjoy the
light summer evening and the labyrinth of islands representing
the Finnish summer life. A buffet meal will be served aboard.
The boat called "Suomi" leaves at 8 pm from the harbour. All
participants and registered accompanying persons are welcome to participate.
Excursion and Sauna on
Wednesday, 15 June 2005
15:00-ca 21 (3 pm - ca 9 pm)
The evening program offers an excursion to a
former farm house located in a beautiful central Finnish
Lakeland scenery on a river. The program offers either a short
forest walk along a path or rafting through the rapids of the
river and traversing the river along a cord. After the adventure
program a typical Finnish sauna bath will be offered to all
interested. The program ends with a light supper in the barn
restaurant. Transportation will take place by bus from
Mattilanniemi Campus at 3 pm. The program
is offered to all
participants and registered accompanying persons.
Conference Dinner
on Thursday, 16 June 2005
19:00-ca 24 (7 pm -ca 12 pm)
The conference dinner will be served in a country
setting in a former manor house located a few kilometers from
the city. Transportation will take place by bus from
Mattilanniemi Campus and Hotel Cumulus at 7 pm. All
participants
and registered accompanying persons are welcome to participate
in this program.
